Hey There!
Mama stole me away last weekend for a Gals Weekend of antiquing and relaxing in Gettysburg – kind of one last mother/daughter hurrah before Little Bit makes her arrival and to make sure that I marked everything off of my summer checklist.
She planned the entire thing and picked out our accommodations – The Inn at White Oak.
It is the sweetest place!
They have several guest suites you can stay in (which are huge!), a spa, and 12 common rooms for guests to enjoy which include things like the Breakfast Room, Tea Room, Ladies Parlor, and Billiard Room.

There is also an indoor pool in a separate outbuilding.
Our suite was the General’s Suite, and it was so cozy! The rooms do only have one bed, but as it was a king-sized bed that worked out fine.

The General’s Suite has a 180-degree view of the two ponds and of the sunrise which was absolutely beautiful! It also has a Jacuzzi tub which I thoroughly enjoyed!

The property is stunning. The owners put a lot of effort into their landscaping and the upkeep of the estate and house. It was so nice to just relax all weekend.
Breakfasts are provided each morning between 9 and 10, and you can choose to sit at a large communal table in the Breakfast Room or at a separate table in the Tea Room. The breakfasts were delicious!

Then throughout the day there are hot and cold drinks available along with fruit and sweet snacks each afternoon and evening.

It’s also just outside of Gettysburg, so it was perfect for us to go shopping and run into town for dinner.
We had such a good experience there. I absolutely would love to go back. If you’re heading to Gettysburg or just looking for a relaxing retreat, you should absolutely check out the Inn at White Oak!
